Friendly & warm service, this restaurant is family friendly, not over the top, easy menu with happy staff. The pizzas are delicious, desserts good too. Nice wine list, again not over the top and very affordable compared to other places nearby. Worth a visit for an easy, good quality meal. Visited twice.

We stay every year at Hotel Ponte Sisto which is not far from Campo de Fiori. There are some tourist traps around there so I followed my noise down a side street and stumbled upon this pleasant surprise. We appeared to be the only real tourists in the restaurant which was a good sign lol. We had my 5 year... More

we are so lucky to have this restaurant just across from our front door. Staying in Rome for 3 months, and having been here a month have eaten here several times. Each time the food and service has been outstanding. My favourites are the Abbacchio lamb, and Scalopine al limone. House wine is also excellent. Will definitely be going back.

The service here is very good, but the food is not up to par. With so much good food in Rome, visit another restaurant. With over cooked pasta and very fatty, over cooked meat, the meal was a big disappointment.

In total, the network Ai Balestrari includes 3 pizzerias. In the one on Via Balestrari, the stoves are set right in the hall, and the visitors can watch the deft movements of the pizza-yolo cooking pizza.

We happened upon this restaurant and stayed for dinner. The rocket, tomato and mozzarella salad was so fresh and lovely. The scallopini wax delicious. If ou are passing by worth a stop as many in this area are not.

We went there after our hotel staff recommended it. We had a pizza, salad, and spaghetti. It was very good. The carbonara spaghetti was very delicious! Highly recommended if you are around.

We went for dinner to the Ai Balestrari and asked for recommendations from the waiter who recommended a mixed plate with various starters which was excellent. Also the main courses were very tasty and we enjoyed the atmosphere as mainly local Italians were amongst the guests. Really can recommend this place.
