Mediocre fried snack- you can find better. Stopped here for a quick bite. Cannot understand why #41. Food cooked on order, but spec at acularla disappointing. You’re better off picking up a pizza for much less. Wouldn’t recommend.
Alfredo is such a lovely man! We come here a couple of times each April and October because “She Who Must Be Obeyed” must have her Alici Fritte, and none does it better anywhere than Decumano 31. The preparation is meticulous and a pleasure to behold;...the portions (as well as the tasty morsels themselves) are perfectly sized and crispy; and our enjoying them (along with any number of other wonderful menu items on offer) from the window seats on the Spaccanapoli is literally heaven to us. We have even been lucky enough to find a fabulous B&B (Domus Rosa) just a few steps away from Decumano 31. Stars do align sometimes!!More
I wanted to try some fried seafood and my daughter wanted to try fried pizza. Wow-can’t believe how easy cheesy/breads/fried food can go down-that pizza was delicious. And the fried sardines were great. They cooked it when we ordered it and it wasn’t dripping with...grease. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for street food. What fun!More
Had been craving a pizza fritta my entire time in Italy and finally got it on our last afternoon in Naples the day before our flight.
Place is small and crowded and hectic. Only 2 guys were working to take orders, cook, expedite food and...serve the people waiting both inside and out, so it was little nuts.
I opted for 2 pizza frittas and one order of fries. Unfortunately, he misheard me and only rang me up for 1 pizza fritta. The food took SO long...nearly a 35 minute wait. But I was in no hurry. I got it to-go and brought it back to our AirBnB.
I wish I got that second pizza fritta, it was THAT good. So fluffy and fried to perfection with delicious melty cheese and a hefty coating of nice, sweet sauce. The fries were really good. I'd say it was worth the wait. Perhaps visit on off-hours rather than peak lunch time and you'll be set.More
Lovely food, freshly fried but not coated in oil, very light and tasty. We got the 'decufritto' to try a little bit of the different fried foods and loved all of them. There were some chairs outside, perfect for people-watching while you eat!
