We had lunch here after a hike up to Villa Jovis, it is a great respite after the (very enjoyable) trek. It's a cute spot, good outdoor seating and nice servers. We had the lemon risotto and the DOP margherita pizza. It was all good, but it seems like the risotto was not made with the traditional arborio rice, and/or it just wasn't stirred consistently enough during the cooking process as it didn't have the texture we are used to and didn't develop the creaminess either. That said, we are picky and it was fine. The pizza - the crust was spot-on napoli style which we love, the sauce was delish but...it didn't taste like bufala miozzy to either of us as it didn't have the more creamy texture than basic mozzy, plus they could actually use a little less and make sure it gets a better melt. The wines are nice and very reasonably priced and our very nice servers gave us a tasty chilled limoncello w/ our espresso. Not the best of the best food but overall we had a very enjoyable meal!

the food at this restaurant is absolutely incredible with fresh ingredients, and yet very reasonably priced. There is a lot of warmth and welcoming energy as soon as you step in. I went with a friend without a reservation and while they were incredibly busy, they immediately accommodated us. I ordered a pizza with white sauce, and my friend ordered mussels and clams. We also got a few appetizers to share. Really great experience and a lively restaurant. This one is an under the radar gem.

Excellent place. We were recommended to this place by a German couple who had been in Capri for 5 days. All good is home made. The waitress said they can make anything in the menu vegetarian as all food is made fresh. I would highly recommend it.

Very expensive for the type of food and its quality (pretty poor). Pizzas are heavy and stick to your stomach and cost twice as much as Napoli’s pizzeria. Wine is overpriced (more than 20 euro for 1/2 liter).
Even in Capri you can find better food for cheaper prices.
I do not reccomend it.
Ps: the woman at the cashier is rude

I booked this restaurant after having heard that it was well regarded by the locals. After having the fine dining experience for a few nights it was nice to try something new. The food was great and although you are eating almost in a school playground, this was the kind of ‘no frills’ experience we were looking for. There was a slight mistake with the order but the lady was very apologetic and fixed it right away so it did not bother us at all. She said sorry with a complementary limoncello at the end and it was the best I’ve tasted.

We had dinner here our first night in Capri. If you want great food, cozy atmosphere, great service in a quiet location, especially not want to see or be seen....this is your place! We had a wonderful night and were made to feel at home, esp. because we were so jet-lagged. Thank you!

Went in here as it had great Trip Advisor reviews and I wanted somewhere off the track a bit in Capri. It was ok but not my favourite place i'd eaten this holiday. My pasta dish (pasta alla chef) was actually very good, my son's pizza was not so good - although tasty the base was very soggy - and all the toppings fell off when he picked it up! Service was ok, although waiters looked a bit out of their depth at times. Maybe we just visited on a bad day or something, so I would say give it a go as it does have some different dishes on offer to other restaurants in the area - I'd probably give it another go myself if staying on Capri and prices are decent for the island.

This is an ideal place for an informal dinner. It is an ideal blend between food quality based on genuine ingredients (my octopus was delicious) and creative dishes (my daughter had some fried balka of shrimps aubergine etc) customer service very gentle but not stiffling for its formality and quiet relaxing location. It was not cheap though.

The setting was nice beside a children's play ground (closed when we were there in evening) sadly both pizzas were very nice but both burnt underneath, 1 very burnt :( otherwise they would have tasted lovely, they didnt even ask why so many burnt pieces were cut off. They need to clean oven I think. Staff were nice. There is a nice walk up a hill to arrive so be prepared.

Nice open terrace and a great staff for a lovely experience. Never ending list from pizzas, which are excellent, to starters, first and main courses and vegetable sides. Do not miss zucchIni fritti - fried courgette - and impepata di cozze - mussels with pepper. I was there several times and everything is delicious, fresh fish and excellent pasta, at very reasonable prices.

We booked this restaurant in advance as visiting Capri for our 30th wedding anniversary.
We couldn’t have chosen a better place to have a special lunch.
I had the full sea bass which was deboned and filleted at the table. My husband had the special of fresh calamari and pasta. Both main courses were delicious . We don’t tend to have desserts, but couldn’t resist the homemade apple pie and strawberry tart. The Prosecco we chosen was excellent too. Complimentary limoncello at the end was a lovely touch.
Although this restaurant is about 10 minutes from the centre of the town, it is definitely worth a visit.

Walk away from the designer shops and busy crowds, up the hill for 800 yards and you will find this little Italian jewel.
Outside or garden seating available, you will be warmly welcomed by the lovely staff of Lo Sfzio.
Great authentic home cooked Italian food. Pizza, pasta, meat, fish… whatever it is you fancy, this place has it all, including daily specials.
I had pasta with razor clams, my wife the rigatoni. It was delicious and when it came to dessert, they didn’t disappoint.
Worth the walk up the hill (the wife called it the hill of death as it was very steep) but as I say, worth every bead of sweat to be rewarded with such amazing food!
Thank you so much for a lovely meal. We will be back when we are next in Capri!

If hungry, the walk up to the restaurant will feel a little tiring (solo un po’).
The food is amazing, the service and the energy of the people is just great!
The prices are very reasonable (cheap) especially for the quality that you get.
We’ve had five plates, starting with the tuna tartare, mussels in tomato sauce, the insalata mista followed by the amazing grilled callamari and the specialty of the day:
spaghetti con shrimp and burrata underneath!
You wanna mix that pasta so that you get the perfetto mixture of everything on that plate.
It’s only 08:13 in the evening, and we leave this place a little drunk, with our bellies pieno, and one incredible experience that we’ll recommend to all our friends.
Se ci stai a Capri, devi venire qua!

Everything Km zero. All genuine products from their vegetable garden.
Annalisa the owner is there to suggest the local plates of the day.
I love it gnocchetti viola con alici e fiori di zucca.
Speciality is also pollo alla carbonella e coniglio alla cacciatore... and more and more.

We found this absolute gem after taking a walk away from the main area. It is well worth the lovely walk. Staff were great - we arrived early and they welcomed us to sit down and have a drink before they opened. It was also lovely to see the staff eating their lunch together. Would highly recommend. Food was tasty and had some lovely wine too ☺️
