We were very lucky to happen across this little place. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was excellent and reasonable and the other customers were locals - the best recommendation of all. Heartily recommend the tuna tartare and the pomada de minorquie (gin slushy) A very social evening.

Authentic place. Ordered the menu Del dia which was 10.90 euro, and was happy with that. The food tasted fresh and the service was good. I ordered ham croquettes, cannelloni and chocolate flan, and my husband has a Russian salad, grilled fish and mango sorbet. Lovely surrounding, unique setting with fab old tiling and dark wooden interior.

Excellent food and beverages. The owners serve the customers nicely. The place is quite typical and cosy. But the best is the value for money in terms of Europe. There was a 30% discount on the final check if you booked on line.

We were here with a large party of friends and the staff went out of their way to make sure everybody enjoyed the food. We had a whole series of incredibly tasty dishes, with the usual bread, cheese and meats, and salads, followed by octopus, then empanadas, steak, then a selection of deserts. We didn't have any choice - it... More

This place is amazing! If you´re looking for something typical spanish and superb, visit la Malquerida! From the moment you enter the decoration caught my attention, it´s something I have never seen anywhere else and the ambiance is very nice. It´s located 5 min from the Opera house and city centre, and just about 10 when you´re coming from the... More

Oh my goodness, we ate SO MUCH food! Even though we were full, the dished just kep coming and we just keep eating because it was so good. Enjoyed the traditional Spanish menu and goregous decor, ordering one of the several course dinner options. Exceptionally good was the Lobster and Queso appetizers and the desserts. Great, unhurried, friendly service. Would... More

Is this place quirky? Is it quaint? Or is it authentic? Was it the excellent company we had, was it the painted tiles on the walls, the wine cellar behind bars, the unusual location? Difficult to say, but four hours at the table went by like ten minutes. I would just like to say something about the service and about... More

Have just had another excellent meal - we have been coming to this restaurant since 2006. It is quite hard to find - but 2 streets down from Mestalla football stadium. We ask the taxi to drop us there and walk down - they never seem to find the road. For the best atmosphere come on a Friday or Saturday... More

First you will have to find it - a very ordinary building in the middle of a residential area , not far from the metro station that serves the football stadium. Second, if you want an evening meal, it does not open until 21.00 (not that unusual in Spain). It is worth it however as the interior is interesting -... More
