Very special decor and waitresses costumes. Excellent coffee place in the middle of down town. Ice cream was very good. A must visit place.

This place is an institution. The special drink is very sweet but also cold and a real tonic on a hot day. Interior was beautiful. Waitress very helpful and kind.

We'd read about Horchata and fartons and seen this restaurant online and featured on a couple of TV shows, so it seemed the obvious place to go for this traditional treat. We went in late afternoon and it wasn't overly busy. We were served straight away, by a really sweet young waitress. We had horchata and fartons for 2 and... More

Tried horchata for the first time - it was really sweet and tasted amazing! Loved it, will come back again. The pastry that came with it was great too.

While in Spain I had to try both. Horracha tasted like raw coconut to me, so glad I tried it but not something I would crave. The churro dipped in hot pudding like chocolate were once again good but can't say outstanding. The place is always crowded and chaotic. I am glad I tried both.

We were attracted by the old tiles entrance and were surprised at first that we were not entering a restuarant. The business and its shop next door majors on a selection of delicious cakes and as we discovered proper pure hot chocolate drinks as well as a range of other hot/cold drinks. It's been there a long time and is... More

I almost didn't go in but glad I changed my mind. It is bigger inside than it looks from the street and worth going in not only or the horchata but to look at how the place appears. I was helped to find a table, my order taken promptly and delivered with minutes. All too easy. The horchata was a... More

Quaint, interesting traditional horchateria, well worth popping in for a drink or sweet treat. Try horchata and fartons, a speciality of Valencia. Definitely an acquired taste but very interesting and worth trying!

We choose this coffee shop since it had tiles on the walls and on the stair treads and the pastries looked delicious. It was very busy on the day we were there. Staff very attentive and our bill was not expensive.

We popped into Horchateria Santa Carolina after a full day exploring Valencia. The restaurant was beautiful. Traditional tiles lined the walls and the atmosphere was buzzy. Filed with locals and tourists alike. We had our first experience of fartons and horchata....delicious. The fartons were doughy and sweet, the horchata sweet milk almond flavoured cold drink....a Valencian treat.
