Had lunch here for the first time with some friends visiting the city. Food and service both excellent. Great value for money and complimentary tasters was a nice touch! Will certainly return 👍🏼

Four of us had dinner here and we were all very impressed. Luckily we had booked the day before, as quite a few people were turned away. It is an actual restaurant, rather than a bar which serves food. It is in a side street...More

We decided to celebrate our 10th anniversary at this restaurant, and that was not a miss. Excellent service, the dishes came quite fast for a good restaurant, and they were all very good with distinct flavours. Reasonably priced vines and a good variety of dishes....More

Valencia is well known for their paella. We were recommended the thinly sliced octopus which was excellent. Unfortunately, their famous seafood paella was quite terrible and very expensive. Overall, a nice place but also very expensive.

Valencia is the birthplace of paella. And Canela is a local gem where you can have the best paella. I tried the Valenciana with chicken and rabbit which was special. This place has good food but the staff are also amazing. They are helpful, informative;...More

The first impressions of Canela are good, white tablecloths in a nicely decorated dining room. Starters were good: Huevos with Jamon, 2 orders of Stuffed Red Peppers, Garlic Baby Squid. We also had an order of Duck Medallions with Foie Gras as an appetizer. The...More

Had lunch here during our Valencia trip. We chose 'Arroz negro con chipirone', which is black rice with baby squid. Excellent choice for a very fair price (10 euros p.p.) Service speaks almost fluent english and was very helpful. I would absolutely recommend.

Excellent service, lovely restaurant with good atmosphere. The food was better than okay, but not great. Yet we still enjoyed our dinner here. I love mushrooms, and as it was October and wild mushroom season, I hoped they might have seasonal mushrooms, so I ordered...More

Si'. La paella di verdure la fanno ed è molto buona. Chiedete espressamente che ci mettano i carciofi in abbondanza. La paella risulterà di colore più scuro, ma sarà squisita. In questo periodo abbondano le fave greche ed... More

Nella paella originale valenciana non c'è glutine! Puoi comunque chiedere perché i camerieri parlano un buon italiano. Mia figlia ha mangiato un'ottima carne alle griglia!
