The food was great. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. My wife and I had the best Spanish wine ever there. The sole was outstanding. I really wanted the aged ribeye but it was too late. The service was good it could have been much better but it may have been because we were the last customers in the place on a... More

Our nearby hotel recommended Teitu to us for lunch with 2 other business colleagues. The wait staff explained menu items well and were attentive to our needs. One colleague ordered the monk fish, which came to the table undercooked. The wait staff immediately took it back to the kitchen for more oven time. It came back well prepared but lacked... More

Dined here on a Saturday afternoon for a family lunch/mid-afternoon main meal (a mix of Madrileños and Americans). The exterior decor is inviting from the street and walking in your senses get filled with thick chops grilling on open flames and the warmth of a homey wood decor. The decor was authentic and tasteful, definitely not touristy. However, the locale... More

Fantastic Asturias food , a bit pricey. Great service but really good food. We had a fabada and a rice caldereta. Started with the tomato and tuna salad which was very good .

As you drive up to the restaurant you can immediately see it is a cut above - it had an old world feel and it is authentic. We ordered a number of tapa to start with and it was the best I have had in Spain. The squid was the stand - out for me. The mains was the tastiest,... More

We had dinner here on our business trip to Madrid as it was close to our hotel. We were promptly seated at 8:30 and had a nice table. While the wait staff did not speak too much English, we did receive a menu in English, and they were very attentive. We thought the food was really good. One of us... More

Cozy place, staff didn't communicate in English that good but service level was OK. Lots of food, four different starters, huge beef as a main course, dessert and finally a selection of Spanish spirits on the house. Mainly foods were tasty, but too much is too much. Finally I was soooo full.

I have been to Teitu 5-6 times over the last two years and it never fails. The food is excellent. I prefer to eat at the bar as there is a very local atmosphere. Meat is cooked on an open grill behind the bar. Steaks are prime beef and exceptionally tasteful. Well worth a visit.
