Quite an exciting menu. Well prepared and not too expensive. As it is a popular restaurant it is busy and staff is not always available (downstairs)

...well then chose Restaurante Extremadura. The restaurant is typically spanish, bright lights in the ceiling, not especially cosy but with that genuine atmosphere found more and more rarely in restaurants nowadays. We got the last availabe table in the restaurant around 10 pm and the...More

Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where
the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and
people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main
thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is
Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables
serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture
of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
