Highly recommended by several world travelers and we will do the same. Quaint, rustic, bustling atmosphere...friendly and efficient service...simple, yet delectable treats...tasty vino tinto! This was a recipe for a fabulous time and the perfect spot for our first foray into the food of Madrid.

The food was amazing. Saw lots of reviews for the mushrooms and they did not disappoint. Sangria is great. A wonderful evening with very attentive staff.

The renown tapas is the grilled mushroom cap, that is delicious! Old world feel in this rustic tapas bar. This was one of the stops on our tapas crawl in the Plaza Mayor area and very enjoyable.

I am not sure of the hours but they were open during the day around lunch time through late at night. Several times when we walked by they were open. I hope you stop in!
