I just love this place. It is located in the heart of the popular hipster neighbourhood Malasaña. It is definitely my favourite restaurant of the ones I’ve visited in Madrid and as fas as I’ve understood, in the nights it becomes a club. It is well decorated and has a cool vibe, the basement has a beach theme with sand.... More

It is a very original place where you can enjoy nice meals and drinks. Meals are small and quite expensive for their size, but the atmoshpere, decoration and music are great.

We got patatas bravas, guacamole, tacos and chicken sandwiches for the table. All were... More

Very friendly staff, nice breakfast selections and located at a plaza so you can sit outside, when it's sunny.

I will definitely return to this very cool place. Great for lunch, brunch or drinks. Located in hip Mala Sana. Check out the basement beach.

The design is pretty cool and the service was fast enough. Too bad the food was pretty average. Not a bad experience but I wouldn't come back.

Great environment, delicious food & good vegetarian options. I got the detox salad and the veggie sandwich. Both were great.

Staying in Malasana

Neighbourhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
