The restaurant is very chic and large area. The staff is very welcoming and speaks several languages. Prices are accessible and reasonable. The croquettes and tenders are excellent. I recommend.

I went to have dinner with a group of friends. If you are not very demanding, you could eat well. It is an informal place to go with a group.

Popped in today for an after a business meeting lunch, and not at all disappointed, for the person that criticised the unfriendly waitress in the reviews, maybe she was having a bad day, maybe she had been really busy before you walked in. A place...not to be snubbed. Friendly service, Great daily menu 12,90€ choice. Great quality food. 5 first dishes, 5 second dishes, the deserts are not up to the level of the rest of the food but that is hardly the chefs fault. Will return.More

My parents were visiting Madrid and staying at the nearby Marriott hotel. We found this restaurant while walking around. We really loved the ambient look that it gave from the street, so we came for dinner two weeks ago, arrived at 9pm to an empty...restaurant. The waitress looked very annoyed that we arrived and told us to wait a minute before being seated. With her finger. After being seated (in the empty restaurant) the waitress did not ask us what we’d like to drink, instead she hurriedly returned to her work behind the bar. I’m only assuming she was “working” because she looked very frustrated and was moving quickly - as if she hadn’t opened the restaurant properly. The Verdejo that my mom received was clearly from a bottle that had been opened (at least) the day before. I got a caña because generally you can’t screw that up. The food was fine. Really, the one thing that redeemed the experience was what the kitchen provided. I don’t generally leave one star reviews, but this experience was just too much to handle. Beware. This restaurant puts the “basic” in basic point.More

We booked here on our last night in Madrid. It was a Sunday and so many restaurants were shut or closed early. This was close to our hotel and was open until late. To be honest, the name did not attract us but we were...so glad we went. It was not busy but we did book on line. The food was wonderful and we had cocktails after. I had chicken tenders and mustard sauce to start which were delicious followed by pork loin with lavendar mash, then lemon tart. Service was excellent.More

We went with 6 friends to eat a menu. The food was outstanding, for 11.90 euros we ate really good. The pasta was delicious, the steak was well cooked, and the dessert was good enough. The beverages and the bread were included in the price....However, at the end, we paid separately. Three of us paid with credit card, the rest of us with cash. We are pretty sure we paid the three menus with cash. Once we were outside of the restaurant, a really husband young male waitress, brunette, with blue eyes (whom was the responsible of collecting the money) said to us that one menu was missing to be paid. The weird thing is that only 10 euros were missing. The conclusion that we arrived is that he kept 10 euros, taking advantage of our bewilderment when paying.More

Starters and service were nice. Our maindishes were big disappointmets: my sirloin steak was rare (ordered medium) and cold inside. Also the second steak after sending my plate back to the kitchen. My boyfriend ordered a burger which was ok but a bit plain and...dry. Even thought service was good and friendly. Maybe the cook had a bad Day?More

Arguelles
Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense

cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping
spot where the major Spanish clothing and department
