Absolutely delightful. Belly up to the bar and work your way through their offerings. Five quite adequate pours with free snacks and a side tapa for less than 13 Euros. Relax and enjoy it for what it is. Cash only.

We were staying across the street at the Gran Hotel Ingles and looked upon the storefront each time we entered and exited our hotel. Over cocktails at our hotel bar, we were told to not miss this place, and so glad we didn't. It's a...More

Simple and to the point. Lots of sherry, do not attempt to order any other drink! Bar has quite the charm to it. We also really enjoyed the olives

We stumbled in here one night and absolutely loved it. Just a handful of tapas and sherry selection with an amazing atmosphere. Even though we were foreigners and didn't speak Spanish (most of the clientele seemed local), the bartenders were extremely nice and welcoming. I'd...More

We visited to soak up a bit of Spain’s civil war history with it’s connection to Hemingway. Amazing atmosphere, can imagine it hasn’t changed at all since the 30’s. I found the sherry horrible, but then I am not a sherry drinker and that is...More

It is very central but also a hidden place. The barrels and the bottles at the bar make you feel like you traveled back in time to early 1900s. It only serves sherry from the wooden barrels and the bill is kept with chalk on...More

Tucked away in a side street with an easily missed front, a touch of a time gone by. A dark and simple interior with a few tables if you don’t want to stand at the simple bar. 5 Sherries from Fino to Oloroso, not a...More

No one will believe you when you tell them about this hidden away gem. Completely stuck in a time warp. Sells sherry only with a few olives thrown in free. Old posters on the high walls. Crammed with people on a Friday night. Informal, musty,...More

A sherry bar where time seems to have stood still for decades - if not centuries. Five different sherries on offer by the glass from barrels, dark interior and no pretentions. Perfect for somewhere different to go for a drink.
