Brilliant food in relaxed little restaurant near Reina Sofia. Caprese salad, soft shell crabs and rare steak particularly good. This was the best food we had eaten in Spain, possibly France and Germany as well.

By far this is the best restaurant I visited in Madrid. I was tired of the tapas and tapas and no decent food. I read reviews and it was totally worth it ! Everything was just perfect ! Marina made us feel just like home,...More

I suspect this place got artificially boosted on TripAdvisor. Tiny bar, no tables, no special atmosphere. The food was nothing to write home about.

Entrana a la plancha was fantastic, and the fish was to die for. Great beer too! It's not touristy, and good music playing.

Sadly we did not have time for lunch when we happened across this bar / restaurant in our way to the station. The food looked amazing and the staff were very helpful - not a big place but well worth a visit - husband loved...More

This was a tiny restaurant so we were lucky to find a table. Even if you need to stand up to eat do it! The staff were so friendly and attentive, helped us with the menu selection and explained everything to us. The food was...More

Walking into this neighbourhood is like entering a
different country ... except it's hard to tell which
one it is. One side of Calle Lavapiés is lined with
Indian restaurants, the other with kebab shops. Men in
traditional African clothing convene outside their
businesses for long chats, and people shout to each
other across plazas and streets. Interspersed among
ethnic specialty shops are independent theaters and
