Went there for the birthday of a friend. The restaurant is very closed to Gran Via, in Chueca. The menu is not a thousand pages but it's varied. The food was delicious, the wine excellent, all with correct prices (less than 30 Euros per person). However, the service is quite distant, all waiters seem to have more important things to... More

We ate here during a 2 night stay in Madrid. We reserved a table through TripAdvisor and received 30% off the total bill! Over the course of 2 weeks traveling around Spain and Italy, this was one of the best meals I had! The restaurant is located down a quiet street and was nice to get away from the crowds,... More

The place is in the heart of Madrid day and nightlife, Gran Via, but the street is quiet and you don't feel rush in the restaurant. We were a group of spanish friends meeting after some years working abroad, we wanted something spanish but with good quality. This place met all our requirements and exceeded in some of them. The... Wandered a little bit looking for food. Found this place. It looked nice inside and had just opened (8 pm) so we tried it. Group of 9. The food was good, better than average. The price a bit high for the quality and quantity of food. Service was excellent. They were patient and even divided the bill for separate checks... More

Well... a fusion of French and Spanish food in the center of Madrid. Generally good although our steaks were tasty but tough. Some creative work done with the food and service was excellent.

Got a last minute Trip Advisor & Fork reservation for 40% off. Two blocks from hotel. Three waiters very nice and overworked on a busy night. Starters and entrees good. Ambience lively. Total bill with three starters, two entrees and two glasses of wine was less than 50 Euro. Took 30+ minutes to get final bill.

The food at this restaurant is Spanish based, and they have English menus available, which is helpful. The atmosphere feel less Spanish. We had the selection of croquettes to start, and the tuna and ham for main course. Overall a reasonable experience. Had two mishaps with wrong water and coffee arriving. With so many dining options available in Madrid, I... More

Staying in Chueca

Neighbourhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
