Great value, superb local food, friendly service and lively atmosphere. Menu del día focuses on great local produce and market fish, but we’ve never been disappointed here. A not-quite-so-hidden gem!

It is very busy in this place but the 3 course meal with a drink and tip is so great. The food was very good and I would definitely recommend. It was like €12 for everything including a dessert!

We just stumbled upon this place and went in. It was packed full but they found us a table. We were very hungry (took one of their gourmet menus) but food was plentiful and tasteful. Service nice. A lot of locals eat there (I always...More

We called into this restaurant by chance, mainly because of the number of people we observed coming and going. Despite being midweek, the place was packed with a crowd of varying ages. There was a DJ playing live music, and various raffles taking place for...More

We always prefer the places locals visit. This is a good example of a hidden Chueca restaurant that offers local typical tasty dishes at a reasonable price.

The hamburger and baguette’s we ordered were very good. Waiter could not speak english but he tried very hard to communicate properly. Overall a very good restaurant and great service!

I’m at the restaurant as I type this. What we like: 1) We were greeted properly and quickly 2) Waitress is pleasant and helpful 3) Sangria is exceptional: big glass with lots of strawberries, orange slices, and a few blueberries. Delicious. 4) Clean dining room...More

The food was good. Not memorable. I would go back if I were in the neighborhood. It’s not meant for fine dining. Tables were very close together. Most of the menu was Spanish only. Some had English descriptions.

Needed somewhere for lunch in the Gran Via area and this place had reasonable Tripadvisor ratings. Presented with a couple of set menus initially and had to ask for the tapas menu, which was slightly odd. Tapas options were fairly standard (which is fine......that is...More

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street
performers, colorful lights, window shopping,
restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and
churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a
collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so
