We ate here. Good mixed paella. Terrible carbonara and sneaky charges on bread and water but in fairness they took the chips of because of the tragic carbonara. The guys were sound and drink was reasonable

This is one of those places that you can't not visit while in Madrid. Totally worth it specially since El Mercado de San Miguel is there & I totally recommend it. You won't regret the visit.
Don't visit Madrid without stopping here. We spent the night in one of the apartments above which I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Madrid's must-see square!! This place looks absolutely fantastic (like the rest of Madrid!!). One thing: don't eat here! Food's not that good. Better go to one of the restaurants just next to the square.

The two restaurants are rated the lowest in the city. Glad I saw the largest Plaza, but no more than 10 minutes is needed.
