We were expecting a 2 star experience, and unfortunately the dinner was far from it. We had the Experience tasting menu and the courses were a series of tasteless tapas items that were underwhelming. The room was similar to a University canteen with service to...More

From the entrance, the warm welcome, to the food, everything top quality. Nothing negative to mention? Yes, although a little one, we are from Holland and we like to take our time while dining. So, no need to hurry. We had to ask the kitchen...More

I started booking restaurants the minute I confirmed my trip to Spain 3 months ahead. To my great disappointment, the 3 stars were simply impossible. It was only with the help of my local agent in Madrid that I managed to secure a table here....More

Got the set course and the flight. Really interesting and good food, with for example a surprising interpretation of Spanish tapas. But overall the impression was a bit cold and impersonal. We had a bit the feeling of being the next tourists in line, August...More

Nice addres for having a gourmet tapas dinner. In a beautiful neighbourhood they have a great wine list and the dishes are very well developded. It's Spanish food fusion. I recommend for those who really are foodies.

Inventive tasting menu with great wine pairing. Comparable with other 2 star Michelin restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the 'bookends' of the snacks and sweets. We enjoyed meeting the chef and discussing cuisine with him,

We made the right choice I think with the menu at €100 + a couple of glasses of wine each. The miniature tapas were great, the presentation very graphic without being overly sophisticated. The deconstructed kebab was interesting and the mignardise with the coffee were...More

Waves of outstanding micro-food whether appetisers or desserts are not enough to convey an emotion I would have expected, even from the basic menu offer of that evening. They are not the minor issues who disturb (too many "are you satisfied" addressed, a bit too...More

Multi-story residential buildings decorated with
ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and
pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and
neighbourhood taverns are scattered across the lower
levels down every block, and here and there, there's a
cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever
crowded, but people are always out, poking into the
tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or
