This place relies in ocasional travellers that are very unlikely to return at sort notice. Hence is expensive for spanish standards and the quality of food you receive. I am from Madrid and never in my entire live I have been charged for the bread that comes with the tapas. The food portions were on the small size of things,... More

Dear Customer In our restaurant the bread is charged when you ask for a food ration as it does not include bread. Thanks for your opinion More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 11 September 2016 via mobile

Visited here with my wife and friend for our last dinner in Madrid before heading home. We really enjoyed the seafood Paella and sangria. After we finished the waiter gave us a complimentary desert and a honey liquor. A great way to end our trip.

You will be amazed with the level of service you get and the food quality-sea food is above the expectation, really fresh and tasty. Try garlic shrimp and pulpo a la gallega. Paella is delicious, black rice - something. Definitely recommended!

Service was efficient, good atmosphere, and the food was tasty- most important part. Being my first time/ night in Madrid, after our service they gave us a small bottle of what it seems a mixture of tequila and hunny... VERY DELICIOUS! But is this normal? Either way, I'm loving it! 😃

This is a small and humble restaurant nearby the Puerta de Atocha train station in Madrid. But what a surprise. As usual in Spanish restaurants, they serve several tapas options and they are very good here. Since is not located in the most traditional touristic places in Madrid, they have a feel of authenticity. You won't be disappointed neither with... More

Led here by the previous good reviews & they proved to be true. A bar restaurant which produces a wonderful paella and serves it with pride. Service was excellent and a good wine is cheap enough to buy a bottle. We ate there for 2 out of our 3 night visit to Madrid. Fully recommended. Not many other tourists there.

Ok so a restaurant by a train station is enough to put me off....don't be it is a great place for a meal or tapas. Bernardo is the lead man there and runs a tight ship. He is a true professional who loves to serve. The food is exceptional especially the octopus. If you like red wine go for the... More

We were sent here by front desk of nearby AC Carlton Hotel the evening we arrived in Madrid. The waiter had no patience for our faltering Spanish and was rather hostile. I ordered a glass of wine but instead he brought an unopened bottle with two glasses. We indicated in words and features that we only wanted one glass. He... More

We were near Atocha Train Station trying to find a good restaurant. Spanish locals pointed us this restaurant but some of us hesitated to enter because it was not that welcoming from the outside. Finally we decided and entered. We ordered the famous Sangria as our drink and seafood paellas as our main course. The staff were very helpful, the... More

We went to Puerta de Atocha as a family and just had a selection of tapas. We were pleased with it, and the service was okay just nothing spectacular. It was close to our hotel and we enjoyed sitting outside as well.
