Nice hotel restaurant, great burger and nice service. For the first time everr i tried the black sesame ice cream - didnt fall in love, but that was really just my personal taste :)

Guests of the Petit Palace Hotel and, being tired after a day in Toledo, we decide to have dinner at the hotel. I state that we did not have dinner included and that we would use the restaurant as external customers. Upon arrival they let us sit down and order drinks. We ask for the menu several times but we are told that the dishes have been written on a notebook. We are also dumbfounded because they are only two firsts and only two seconds. We are here, we are tired and we do not want to go out so we order a carrot soup (at the end of June!), a hamburger and an unidentified fish. The food itself is not bad but from a restaurant of a 4-star hotel we expected much more. A twist! More customers arrive and menus pop up... much richer than our skimpy choices. We call the waiter and ask him for an explanation. He asks me, now that we're practically done, if we didn't have dinner included. To my negative answer, she changes her face colors seven eight times. He is evidently embarrassed by the situation knowing that he, the staff but especially the hotel and the restaurant attached have made an unedifying impression. I repeat that we had asked for the menu over and over again and were always denied. If they had at least asked us the number of the room we would have immediately cleared up the misunderstanding instead with protervia they continued to deny us and that was it. A situation bordering on surreal. In the end we pay, as if it had been a dinner included in the stay, 16 euros each which will not even be much but compared to the treatment received becomes a further negative note. In my opinion the management should explain to their staff how you can distinguish who is an internal customer and who instead would like (obviously paying for) an A-list customer treatment. The next day at the hotel reception they ask us if everything went well and, to our negative response about the restaurant, they wanted to convince us that the menu was for internal customers and the segregated choices for external ones ... which for us meant climbing on mirrors. At first glance the restaurant in Petit Palace Santa Barbara hotel might seem like quite a fancy place. However, although the food is good, it’s nothing breaktaking. Staff is kind but rather slow.

Only stayed for one night but room was large on the top floor. Sloping ceiling and one small window up high - would have been disappointed if staying longer as natural light very limited. That said it was very quiet - unusual for many Madrid hotels. Choose your room carefully. Bed very comfortable, towels good, wifi okay- no free water in room though. A/c struggled to get room cold quickly. Staff very helpful. Hotel had a good vibe, was clean and well located. Lots of choice in the area but this hotel should be an option.

The hotel is clean and convenient.
The breakfast is great.
It was freezing in the room but we were unlucky it was actually cold in madrid at that time, so I guess they did not expect that.
