After a disappointing visit at the cafeteria of the museum of architecture coffeeshop where we were just ignored by the staff we found refuge with a hearty italian welcome at this italian restaurant. OUR PIZZA WAS DELICIOUS, THIN CRUST AND WONDERFUL CHEESE TOPPING, GREAT MIXED SALAD WITH PERFECT DRESSING. unfortunately, we did not feel hungry enough for the praised tiramisu... More

I came here in the late afternoon/early evening when the place was empty, but the lovely decor inside lured my in. It looks and feels very authentic, like you're actually in a pizzeria in Italy. The kitchen was partly closed but you could get pizza so I went with that, and it was a huge portion and very delicious. It... More

I had a Margarita pizza. It was fine, but I felt the mozzarella cheese on the pizza wasn't particularly good, just seemed like a random assortment of cheeses. Moreover there was no basil on it which meant it didn't have that extra edge to the flavour. The service was fine and the atmosphere good, though I won't be going back... More

We were attracted from outside, it was obvious that atmosphere is great and it really is. After having pizza end pasta it confirmed that food is also worth to try. Walls are painted with motives from Sicily. At the end - small, cozy, cute, with good food and service.

Although it was good, a little high on the price, I'm sure there are better places, because it wasn't the best in all of Spain. Actually, I didn't notice any sauce on the pizza, which means all cheese. I am not sure if that's what 4 cheese pizza is, but I'd like to have a great pizza sauce.

The place is small but noce. Staff is kind and the menú is a real Italian one. Food is good and prices are absolutely normal.

Expat living in Madrid for 4 years now. I've been coming here since the first month living in Madrid. This is a small place, that has some "outpost" around Madrid. This is an authentic pizza place, the staff is extremely nice, and are all actually either Italian or Sicilian. The prices are very reasonable. You can't go wrong with ordering... More

Pizza and pasta were rubbery and just not very good. If you are looking for a place to prevent a hangover this might be your spot, otherwise I would pass.

Great pizza, probably one of the best in Madrid. The rest of the menu was kinda ok, so keep that in mind: this is mostly about the Pizza. The place is a bit tight, not too spacious.

Staying in Chueca

Neighbourhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
