We arrived at 3:45 on a Monday expecting a "no" at the door. Instead, a warm welcome and a nice table. The place was still full and we ordered a tortilla, roasted peppers, a salad and the famous roasted lamb. Finished with Tarta de Santiago and Flan de leche. Outstanding and well priced.

Recommended by the person at one of the nearby vineyards, we drove and parked near the soccer field and walked up the hill into town for lunch. Dont try and park in town. Terete is a very 'local' restaurant, with roast lamb - cooked in a big woodfired oven - its specialty. The lamb was good, but the roast chicken... More

We were a group of 5 friends visiting the area. Upon entering, we were greeted with a smile and proceeded to our table. The waitress was very friendly and was able to point us to the right dishes. The food was amazing, and the wine spectacular. Fair pricing for very good food and sufficient portions. We are all fluent in... More

In spite of the over crowded restaurant we were able to get a table. The service was OK but with flaws. Reasonable prices for wine and food.

Heard so much about this place and were pleased to get a table on a Saturday night. However, although the food was hot and adequate, the atmosphere was non existent and service offhand A tremendous letdown. l

Simple high quality food, comptent staff and good wines at reasonable price. There is a bodega out back which you can visit or hire for large parties.

Enjoyed the oven-roasted lamb w/ several great wines. Lovely place with nice local flavor. The staff immediately accommodated our group of seven.

The oven roasted lamb was very good and one portion was enough for my wife and I to eat for lunch. Appetizers of "Croquetas de Jamon" and "Murcilla (Blood sausage)" were also very tasty. Topped off with great Rioja wine and very attentive service, it was a delicious lunch experience in Haro

The one star rating I have given does not relate to the food which was very good but to the fact that when I paid with my credit card I was charged in £ and not euros- when I complained the staff simply would not listen to me and insisted I had paid in euros. The MasterCard receipt is quite... More

We spent two nights in Haro, the weather in the UK was around 28 degrees but in Haro it was 18 and raining! We went on spec and had a warm welcome. The staff had little English which led to a misunderstanding over the starters but what we had was excellent. We shared the roast lamb and a good bottle... More
