We had read the reviews to this restaurant so booked our reservation months in advance. When we arrived we walked through a very narrow area of the restaurant with a few tables (my heart sank as I thought, oh no, is this the restaurant?) We were pleased to be lead upstairs to a lovely room full of atmosphere and charm.... More

After the first day at Casa Marcelo, we are looking for some local Galician good and was not disappointed to get a last minute booking to experience the food. It was very simple menu however, the flavour is amazingly good.

This restaurant is one of the best choices in Santiago. I like the food, I like the place but I have to say I am very disgusted because of their filtered water. I think it is a very good idea but it is expensive to be tap water.

Had high expectations due to tripadvisor reviews but they were not met. The waiter did not have any personality or character last night the 9th of November. He did his job well, but did nothing more. Very cold service.... The starters were quite disappointing, had a fig tartar which was simply not well done. It said it had foie gras... More

This is one of the top restaurants in Santiago in our opinion. Friendly service and beautifully prepared Galician dishes.

My business group had fantastic dinners here on both our visits to scenic Santiago de Compostela. We had to go back the 2nd time because the first visit had been so memorable. Delicious menu options, beautiful presentation and very good service. Recommend!

We had lunch here and had high expectations. When we arrived we're lucky to find a table outside. We picked some plates to share. The tomato plate was great. The fish plate was a bit too complex in terms of taste combination. The croque monsieur was different but not extremely special. The waiter who served us was a bit pushy... More

We dined here on our last night in Santiago de Compostela and it left us with more good memories of this beautiful city. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and were very attentive throughout our meal. The food was superb with good choices in meals and wines.

This is a very nice restaurant, perfectly located, with beautiful and modern decor, plus great service. As to the food... the appetizers and the dessert were simply amazing. For the main plate, I had higher expectations but at the end it was not bad, just a little favorless. As appetizer we had the habas and shiitake mushroom soup. Amazing! You... More
