A tiny little bar tucked away near the Cathedral. Only standing room for a few lucky customers. Still as it would have been 50 years ago with the cider barrels behind the counter and a tray of mussels and cockles on the cool shelf. Cider...More

This down-at-heel eatery is a Santiago institution. Not dirt cheap because of the quality of the ingredients on offer, and of course the way they are cooked. The decor is very basic and the noise level of people gabbling and cackling is high! And that...More

First time we tried to get in it was sardines only so went back another day - glad we did. Nice wine in cups, nice spanish hipster vibe and nice food plus freebies. Octopus, name and cheese was all nice. Great santiago institution.

Took us a while to find this nondescript place. But it was a great find! We were early and were told to "wait". Did a bit of walking around, an finally came back to be seated at the appointed time. Small place with limited seating,...More
