I liked the décor...reminded me of MY grandmother's house. Full of knick-knacks and paintings of questionable quality but clearly items of personal value. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was unpretentious and a few dishes like the fish soup and fois gras ravioli truly awesome!

We went here as it was near our hotel and had good reviews on TA. We had no reservation but a table was found for us by one of the two brothers who run this family restaurant. Don't be put off by the dated decor as the food we had was delicious. We opted for a set 3 course menu... More

Don't let the nostalgic 80's family house decor influence your judgement and push the door of this restaurant. Like we did an late summer afternoon, while we looked for a decent place for a late lunch. Manolo the owner, and son of Amelia, was on his own (with his little dog) and gave us a warm welcome as he was... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a Sunday night when almost everything else was closed and it was a by pleasant surprise. We ordered from the 20 euro tourist menu but next time would order from the main menu. The food was very nice and the atmosphere was great, the house wine was great (but not cheap) but the service... We had just finished our tour at the Sagrada Familia and were famished after a long day of traveling. Not wanting to settle for Burger King, we looked to TripAdvisor for guidance. We weren't patient enough to wait until 8pm, which is when locals usually eat, so we stumbled into La Yaya which touted "non-stop kitchen hours". I must admit... More

the reviews were all great so we chose this place to eat. There is a set menu for around 20 E. the appetizers were uniformly good (goat cheese, soups). But from there the meal was only average. the 'salt cod' is not really salted - those dishes were better than the others (lamb and another fish). the service was very... More

Excellent food: salad with goat cheese, great duck, great steak, great wine (and good price): Faustino5. We did not like the fish, so choose something else. We took menu and was great! 20e menu, we reached ~25e/pers. In spain after 2pm till evening, most restaurants are closed, so call in advance/book, especially if big group. English speaking staff. Overall, best... More

First, a confession. My wife is a chef and is nosey about other kitchens. We were staying nearby and so visited the restaurant on the basis of the reviews here. It's a small cosy place and the staff are welcoming and helpful. The prices tend to steer you towards the daily menu (they also have daily specials on top of... More
