Before you come to this restaurant you have to empty your stomach in all senses, because every dish inside this building is more than big and very tasty, I mean delicious. a good place to visit after a walk in La Barceloneta.

This was our second time in Paco Alcalde restaurant. The restaurant has been in business since 1921 and is family run. A few years ago looking for an authentic dorada dish we stumbled into this restaurant. It is a place where locals eat and we...More

Great wholesome food. If you're on a diet or a vegan, you might want to stay away. But if you like traditional food in deliciously generous portions, that's the place for you. Plenty of fish and seafood, though if you don't want that, go for...More

This is the second time I visited them. I always eat the menu, which includes a bottle of wine for two. Their seafood is excellent, tasty and fresh. I would definitely return!

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
