Next to Estacion de Franca, a hidden culinary treasure is hiding. Away from the hustle and bustle of the busy touristic streets of Barcelona. If you want to escape from the tapas syndrome and try typical dishes with a twist this is the place for...More

Combine service, atmosphere, unique options, and amazing food and La Estrella is the place...only tell your best friends or this place will be packed. We had this amazing codfish, mussels that had a sweet flavor, can't even think of everything but wow....and check out these...More

Quality, innovation, unbelievable taste. It was a perfect night in a lovely place. I wish there were such a place in every town. I highly recommend fish, seafood and desserts and let me recommend you to enjoy their selected choice of wine, you'd hardly find...More

I read all the reviews and was a bit skeptical as far as the location. Not a problem at all. We walked to the restaurant and back to the hotel as well. No problem. The service and atmosphere were great. As others have stated "...More

Shhh... Don't tell anyone, as there are only 11 tables. Jordi sources the best quality ingredients and presents them very delicately on a plate. Wines you've never heard of and melt as you taste them. Very decent price wise. Will definitely be back!

Don't pay too much attention to the menu. The daily specials are outrageously awesome. The proprietor will explain each special in vivid detail and each special dish has a story behind it. There are more specials than regular menu items. My favorite restaurant in Barcelona....More

We chose to eat here on the basis of Tripadvisor recommendations but were very disappointed. There were very few other diners and these were business men. The waiter was pretentious in his descriptions of the food. Once he realised we were only after a light...More

We accidentally turned up late for our reservation but were still welcomed (sorry La Estrella!). It was a sublime meal with perfect flavours all perfectly cooked from fresh ingredients. We let the owner choose most of the courses for us and there were no misses....More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
