If you want some simple and down-to-earth, but good local food, this is the place to go. There was a queue of people waiting for the 8pm sharp opening. Seating is basic. Service is simple and swift. Food was fresh and very tasty. Good portion...More

If you are looking for very basic all-fried food in a hectic envrionment...then go to Can Mano. We visited based on raving reviews on trip advisor but it was the worst place we ate all holiday. A 30 min wait on the street outside had...More

Get there early if you don't want to wait for a table for quite a while. If you don't you will have all the fun to drink beers on the pavement while you wait for a table to become available. The food is very good...More

Decided to go to Can Mano after reading good reviews. Had difficulty finding it - even with the GPS, but we just needed to look out for the queue!. Waiter acknowledged us in the queue and signalled an accurate 10 mins wait (no English spoken...More

Everything you read about this restaurant is true. It is super cheap compared to the rest of Barcelona, the street and condition it is in looks stolen from Havana, Cuba. you gotta put your name on a list, the owner says ‘twenty minutes’ to everyone...More

This place opens at 8pm and no earlier. Arrive any later than 8pm and expect to wait for a table. The decor does not look like anything special and it is clearly a family run business. The waiters only speak Spanish and Catalan. We ordered...More

After reading all the reviews, we went there for a try and weren't disappointed. We registered on the waiter list upon arrival, had a glass of house wine (2.4? for 2) from the bar while waiting in the street for a free table. We tried...More

This has to be one of the cheapest places in town although the fish dishes might be slightly more expensive than elsewhere but it is still cheap. If you opt for meat and a side dish, they are extremely cheap, for example some grilled meat...More

While wandering around Barcelona we were looking for something local and authentic. We decided to stop a local and ask for a recommendation. They pointed us here. We had to wait for a table for a little while, but we sat outside on the curb...More

You are lucky if you get a table there are always queues. It is a very typical small tapas restaurant, the tapas are excellent and served quickly, friendly staff.

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
