The food is good but the amount is not that much. So you will need to order several things. The paella was nice and the "pulpo a la brasa" was wonderful.

This restaurant gave me the choice of Tapas that i love. This restaurant has a great menu with lots of choice. They also have a good wine list with good prices. The tapas were fantastic. It is a comfortable restaurant and you dont feel rushed. Which is just as well as the staff tend to forget you are there until... More

We arrived here after a long busy day walking around barcelona and fell right in to a tourist trap. Ordered a 5 meat skewer and waited over 45 minutes to be served raw meat , the chicken and pork were pink right through and had to be sent back to the kitchen, then had to wait another 15 minutes for... Amazingly friendly staff and good food. This isn't gourmet but an extensive menu of many tapas and dishes. The staff go out of their way to be helpful. It is nice to look out at the busy city rather than eat inside.

We had a very bad lunch experience, including a very rude and slow waitress, serving us up to a quarter of an hour later than tables that were seated way after we came in. The starters were ok but one of our mains was re-heated and included less food than what we could see in other tables. I would avoid... More

Wonderful location at the top of La Ramblas, far from the crowds. Just went in for a paella, surf and turf. Great meat and well cooked. Apparently by an Indian cook. The creme brûlée was also pretty nice. Sit outside and watch the world go by. A special mention of my waiter Raja, who was amazingly hospitable and kept a... More

Had a lovely lunch of tapas and onion soup in the outdoor seating area. Cold cuts and rosemary sheep cheese, plus some wins, were just the ticket.

Visited for a work dinner with colleagues. Really tasty! We had a set menu.Great selection of starters to share and then a choice of salmon or chicken for main. Finally custard for dessert. All really tasty. Can't complain about anything. I'll go back for sure next time I'm in town.

Placed in the heart of Barcelona. Trobador is a Mediterranean brasserie where you can enjoy specialities like meats, vegetables, salads and sausages... Well elaborated cuisine and directed to a wide public range in a nice, cosmopolitan, dynamic atmosphere. Its stands out for it particular decoration inspired by a theatre whit its theatre posters, on the walls checked floor and nicely shaped chairs as well as for its privileged location next to Placa Catalunya.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
