Nice tavern and atmosphere. Try paella and "navara "steak. Also they serve nice beer and bread with tomato-they call it "coka " ,I think.

El Glop is large sized and very welcoming for a group. The surrounding was fantastic and very well set up. The food was carefully chosen with many varieties. The chefs made special meals for dietary needs. The waiters checked on us often and made sure we had what we needed. The chefs were there talking to us and enjoyable to... More

Came here with my girlfriend as it was generally close to our hotel. It was a Monday night. Not crowded. They have English language menus but not a place that caters to tourists. Ordered Paella and a bottle of white wine, recommended by our waiter. Paella was amazing and the manager/head guy there saw me struggle with the full shrimp... More

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel very welcome. The service was generally quick and always polite. One of our party was a vegetarian which had caused problems in other places, but here there was no fuss at all. Superb calçots to start (followed by pa amb tomaquet for the romesco sauce), then 2 delicious paellas... More

The restaurant has a Nice atmosphere and very affordable prices. The paella was excellent (we tried both regular and Black) and for 3 people, 2 paellas was more than enough. The service wasnt the Best, but a very good and relaxed experience

We booked a table for 9pm on New Year's Eve. When we arrived it was chaos: at least 30 other people were also waiting to be seated: all with reservations and no tables available: the manager had no system so the pushiest people and people who seemed known to the manager forced their way to the front. We all stood... More

Lunch for two families. Lunch stop on way to Park Guell. Love the ambience of the interiors, cozy and warm. Boys liked their lamb and pork chops. I enjoyed the onion soup and seafood paella. Friends thought the black and rabbit paella was more fragrant. Goes down well with a bottle of red wine. Youngest Daughter had a pasta child's... More

Authentic place, cosy and crowded, better reserve up front or be seated in the front room. Good range of wines and food, everyone will find something of their likes. Food was exceptional and to the point, the fish and Paella better than the meat though. Prices are alright for the quality and portions you get (14 - 21€ for the... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
