We were able to visit early in the evening, just as they opened. Locals and tourists started pouring in a few minutes later and the place became fairly busy. It was nice to watch people come for a quick drink, a few small bites, and...More

We lucked in by arriving shortly before the lunch rush and got a little table to enjoy several tapas and a wine or two. All the while loving the hustle and bustle. It would appear to be part of a walking foodie tour place as...More

Rammed with people, this was the best tapas of our trip with friendly staff and a superb bustle. Staff were more than happy to recommend dishes and it all came as and when ready. The peppers and grilled meat was amazing

One of my favorites in Barca. Their cava of the house is splendid, the pinxos simple but good. Just ask them to bring something, and they will deliver a nice mix of everything you need. However, it is crowded and has over the years become...More

Things you need to try at el Xampanyet are pluma ibérica, chorizo copa, the house cava, and the bread. The service is amazing, they make you feel at home and it gets crazy, but is well worth the wait.

I love it every time even more! No comments, absolutely the best! Come at 6.30 so you get a seat. Can wait to eat and drink and drink and eat again there ❤️❤️❤️❤️

BEST tapas but you need to get there way before you are hungry. We went at 8 and got to eat at 10. It is a very small space, but well worth the wait if you love to eat the very best food!

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants

It's really small place and really hard to find a place to sit. Most of the people are standing. However I saw couples or friend groups there. If you go early you might find a place.

I don't think that they take reservations. It's more of a first come first served situation. I would strongly recommend to go earlier before they open especially if it's a larger group of people.
