Great classic catalan bar with a decent selection of tapas and bocadillos. Nothing fancy but good atmosphere and good prices

Good food in a traditional " bar" (pub) in Barcelona. A real taste of Barcelona. Always is full, pretty noisy but authentic.

We found this restaurant on our way back from Tibidabo. Nice service, lovely food, nice sangria. The only downside was that we were charge more for the jug of sangria then it states in the menu, but we didn't have time to argue so we just deducted the difference from the tip. Overall very nice and I would definitely come... More

We were taken here for the first time four years ago by a friend living in Barcelona. We've been back every year since. Quite simply one of the best places to while away a low key lunchtime with the locals. Excellent food, great value and a lovely friendly atmosphere. We had a wide selection of tapas, including fish, meat, vegetables... More

When I lived in Barcelona, I ate breakfast and lunch here more than any other restaurant. It was good, cheap, close and I liked the people who ate here. After seeing so many changes in Barcelona fifteen years later, it was nice to return to a place that had remained untouched by tourism. Even the same waiters were there, and... More

Our B&B host suggested this place to us when we asked where we could have some real Spanish Tapas - this is where she takes her family and friends so we gave it a try. On 3 visits - we were the only non-locals in the place. Its a local, neighbourhood bar/restaurant off the beaten path (1 block off via... More

Great food and service, especially for the price. Not an obvious choice, as it is a bit off from the main street. Always full of locals in a great area called Gracia. Went with friends and loved it. Yummy Sangria only 1.5 Euro for a hefty pour. Great authentic tapas. Recommend to anyone wanting a non-tourist spot. Nothing fancy, but... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
