Following a hectic day in Figueres doing the Dali thing we were tired and wanted something comforting so thick creamy Spanish hot chocolate fitted the bill. The staff were really friendly and the churros were nice and fresh. We also ordered horchata to take away...so we could return to our hotel room and try it with Fireball whisky (which worked surprisingly well!) The shop is open until 10pm so it was perfect. There are only a couple of bar stools to sit at but they were free for us to sit at. A lovely way to end an exhausting dayMore

Great little churros place in the Eixample district. It happened to be close to where we stayed, so we thought we'd check it out. And we were really glad we did! Some of the best churros ever! We had the Dulce de leche churro, which...is basically a big churro filled with Dulce de leche, two Chocolate churros, and four normal churros with chocolate sauce, plus their special drink called Orxata, made with nut milk. All delicious. But really filling. Would have loved to come back another day, but we didn't have time unfortunately. If I lived here I would come at least twice a week..Really nice place.More

I had the filled churro and the chocolate was the best! Could have this every day, so it was a good thing it was quite far from our accommodation, because I would leave even fatter!

We had churros here and they were very good. The chocolate is sweet and thick making a perfect addition to the churros. The shop is small with very little room for people wanting to enjoy their churros there. This shop is better than all the...other Xurrerias we tried in the city the exception being Laietana. Laietana is the best. The service here is friendly and helpful. We recommend this place.More

In the Gràcia neighborhood of Barcelona you’ll find one of the highest-rated xurrerias (Catalan for churro bakeries) in the entire city. And they’re pretty good, with the novelty of being a rare bakery that makes churros stuffed with fillings and even coated in chocolate, as...well as the popular plain version. The churros are pretty bland, so I suggest getting one that’s filled to balance out the flavors. But the customer service is fantastic!More

I was looking forward to having the real chocolate + churros experience for a long long time now and so I told my sister that I wanted to experience this for my birthday weekend in Barcelona. Needless to say, we went back here twice! The...lady that helped us was helpful even though we had language barrier. The churros were fresh and crunchy and the chocolate drink wasn't sweet at all. I don't really have any other experience of how the chocolate drink should taste so just FYI. Overall, it was cheap and good! Sis and I ended up taking ours to go and we sat at Jardins de Salvador Espriu. Less crowd and not much smoking inhalation.More

Churros are ok, nothing special. However, I found hair in 2 out of 6 churros we got, and this is why poor review.

Fresh homemade churros are the best with hot chocolate!!!!! They’re crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside and they have a flavor no one can resist! Highly recommended! Loved it and I would definitely come back here when I am in Barcelona....Thank you for having us. Xx AthinaMore

great location, un-ending supply of fresh churros - great chocolate sauce for dipping. For uninitiated North American, an excellent substitute for donuts

Cheap and really good churros with hot chocolate dipping sauce! After a good dinner at La Pepita next door, this is perfect place for desserts!! Went there twice during my trip. Can't get enough of the churros!!!

My daughter found this place via a blogger she follows online. Blogger said this was best place in world for churros. Bad service. Average churros. They only take cash. Feel free to skip. Blogger must have been somewhere else

read about this place, and walked there (~30min) from Park Guell (on the way to Casa Botllo). The (6) churros and chocalate (for 4 euros) were the best .. not greasy/oily and outstanding, as were the stuffed churros (caramel and nutella). a small place with...a short bar and 2 stools, but a must to visit (and eat)More

There is always a line when we walked by and for good reason. The churros were fresh and the chocolate was thick and delicious. Usually the chocolate drink is too bitter or too sweet for me but it was perfect there.

Mediocre at best. Churros should only be served fresh out of the fryer, piping hot, and then covered in sugar. Stopped in searching for a decent churro in barcelona, tried the stuffed churros which were ok and i understand serving cold. But the regular churros...are just sitting around in a big heap waiting to be tossed into a bag, sugar poured over (which just sinks to the bottom of the bag, as you need the hot oil for the sugar to stick), and then handed over. It wasnt even a busy time. Please stop serving cold churros.More

The plain ones are 100% dairy free. My girlfriend is dairy intolerant and she was fine taking them. Obviously not including the ones with the fillings and the dipping chocolate.
