great location, un-ending supply of fresh churros - great chocolate sauce for dipping. For uninitiated North American, an excellent substitute for donuts

Cheap and really good churros with hot chocolate dipping sauce! After a good dinner at La Pepita next door, this is perfect place for desserts!! Went there twice during my trip. Can't get enough of the churros!!!
My daughter found this place via a blogger she follows online. Blogger said this was best place in world for churros. Bad service. Average churros. They only take cash. Feel free to skip. Blogger must have been somewhere else
read about this place, and walked there (~30min) from Park Guell (on the way to Casa Botllo). The (6) churros and chocalate (for 4 euros) were the best .. not greasy/oily and outstanding, as were the stuffed churros (caramel and nutella). a small place with...a short bar and 2 stools, but a must to visit (and eat)More
There is always a line when we walked by and for good reason. The churros were fresh and the chocolate was thick and delicious. Usually the chocolate drink is too bitter or too sweet for me but it was perfect there.
Mediocre at best. Churros should only be served fresh out of the fryer, piping hot, and then covered in sugar. Stopped in searching for a decent churro in barcelona, tried the stuffed churros which were ok and i understand serving cold. But the regular churros...are just sitting around in a big heap waiting to be tossed into a bag, sugar poured over (which just sinks to the bottom of the bag, as you need the hot oil for the sugar to stick), and then handed over. It wasnt even a busy time. Please stop serving cold churros.More
I’ll never get tired of their churros. Definitely one of my top places of Barcelona. Always freshly made and so affordable. Everything is to take away.
Churros were great, tried the big one with caramel filling as well. The also serve a special drink there which name I can't recall, but it was super tasty, chilling and sweet, perfect for the summer.
You will not find a better churreria in Barcelona than Xurreria Trebol. Chocolate was served warm and thick but not too sweet. Just the way we like it. Both the churros and porros were both newly fried with the sugar sticking to the warm dough....Simple perfection on a cool afternoon.More
In search of the best churros... Churros seem like the kind of food that it would be hard to get wrong, but this place does em better than anywhere else I ate em. A cheap and cheerful place. 6 churros with chocolate sauce was €4,...they were available by weight as well and the price seemed good. I also ate a big chunky one stuffed with chocolate goodness and it was €2. Stuff to note is that it is cash only and there isn’t anywhere to sit and eat them (a small counter which could maybe seat 4, but was usually filled with people waiting to order, collect).More
