If you are visiting poble espanyol, u have to sit at Abrelaras which is at the main square called plaza mayor. The most friendly staff in Spain and u can enjoy the best mojito !

On the main square in Poble Espanyol, nice place to soak up the atmosphere with the largest glass of cava I've had in Barcelona :-)

All they have here is the facade of architecture from around Spain. I got more out of walking the neighborhoods without being asked for an entry fee. On Suday, most of the shops were closed, although they do not represent regional areas anyway. It is nay good if there is a particular event being held there. There places to eat... More

Dear sir, I believe your comment is for "POBLE ESPANYOL" museum not for our bar cafeteria. We wish to see you at our place. Best Regards, ABRELATAS More

When we entered to poble espanyol, we reached to a big square called plaza mayor and we realized a tiny bistro cafe there which looks different than others. Welcomed by smiling and ate delicious empanadas and crepes. Loved it. As all the other comments, we agree also that sangria is the best.

I recommend chicken sandwich and sangria. The best sangria i have ever tried in Barcelona. Also, they have turkish coffee. The prices are reasonable with a smiling face And has the best owner!

Had lunch with my family visiting Pueblo Espanyol. Enjoyed very much. Kids had pastas, including a vegetarian one, adults had good chicken tortillas and burritos. All was very good and the service as well. Great Turkish music in the background. Recommended!

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
