The restaurant sits in front of the Mercat de la Boqueria. The prices appeared to be catered to the tourist trade and the food was less than palatable. I would never eat here again. The steak was overcooked and the tapas were bland.

We decided to go somewhere to have a seafood platter and earlier in the day we had been to the food market where we walked past this restaurant. The seafood platters looked good when we walked by so came back for dinner. Well it was...More

While we expect to pay above odds in the tourist area of Barcelona this restaurant is in a class of its own - 15 Euros for bread rubbed with tomato! Food mediocre total bill sky high - avoid this place at all costs. Worst of...More

We randomly went in to this restaurant because there was a lady outside the restaurants wanting us to go in. The service was average but the food was over priced. Tapas tasted a little blend. Drinks were double the price than the other tapas restaurant...More

Total Total Rip off. We are extremely angry with ourselves that we fell for this awful tourist trap. 15 euros for a plate of soggy bread with tomato. 6.90 for a beer and 16.90 for a half bottle of average wine. They do not offer...More

We stopped here visiting Barcelona... A big mistake. The staff was unprofessional, even for an amateur touristic restaurant. As an example, we asked for an starter, and two main dishes for us and two other for our children. 40 minutes later, I asked why they...More

This Basque restaurant has seating inside and at the back, facing la Bocqueria market. I sat there, with waiter service. The view is good, but I suspect the prices are higher here because of the view. Service was a little slow. All the other customers...More

One half litter draft beer 7 euros. They charge you few slices of bread and in our case the prices in the bill of the four "tapas" we ordered did not match (not a single one) with the prices in the menu. They claimed that...More

We thought this would be good, located adjacent to the market. Service was slow and getting our food was slower. When we finally got our food it was okay. We had been sitting there so long the beer was empty. We asked for a refill...More

La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry
riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard,
and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La
Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll
past impressive human statues and artists while others
take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at
one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic
Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and

Tapas, paellas, rices, "pinchos" and some details from Basque cuisine are some of the delicatessen you might find within restaurant Sukaldari.
Just a few meters and facing the Boqueria Market you find this lovely place with 3 floors and with a non-stop kitchen from 9am to 1am where the guests can enjoy a tradicional and quality product from Spain.

If after your visit to the market you are starving, your best choice is then Sukaldari!
