Really surprised with the quality of the place, great service and amazing tapas dishes with undiscovered flavours; one of the best experience ever

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Barcelona, but unfortunately L'Eggs seem to have taken over that space. Somewhat stale interior but great menu with well made seafood and meat dishes. Their rice were the highlight, especially the one made with sea urchin. The staff were always friendly and attentive.

A business dinner of 30 had fine food, but it lacked something extra. The room in the basement did not have the best atmosphere.

Excellent ambience .. took a grp for lunch and all was excellent as envisaged. service could have been a bit faster but the senors/senoritas did the best possible . The only gripe was that the arranged menus for the veggies still had the Bread Escalibada with anchovies which should not have been served but was rectified quickly. all in all... More

The restaurant is centrally located and the atmosphere is formal and a bit bland. We had an array of starters, all of them especially the hake was very good. However the steak that followed was fairly mediocre. The service was unobtrusive and very efficient. Would recommend for a group dinner.

Fine dining, I had steak and muscle plus wine. It's proper dining food. No complaints. All as expected. But they open for dinner at 8:30PM ! I was really starving.

Hour and a half wait for food on top of a half hour wait for a table in a near empty restaurant, usual promises of in a minute kept us waiting. When the food turned up (mine arrived after they had cleared everyone else's plates!) the fish was what I can only describe as disgusting. So heed the warning and... More

The food is good, the atmosphere is good, the location is good but it lacks what I like in a restaurant: personality. Large, modern and nice but you will not remember it for more than two days. It's a pity because the chef is a renowned TV character. The wine list is also not impressive.

I use this place regularly for lunch as the Generalitat have an office opposite It is in amongst the best shops and hotels in the city . Service is very good and though the food is not spectacular it is reliable and not too expensive if you stick to the menu. For me it is a business place not somewhere... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
