We usually do not visit a restaurant twice we like to try different things. However in Barcelona we visited this 4 times on our 7 day visit. It was close to our hotel and the patries, coffee, and ham rolls are wonderful - a real treat.

Saw this listed in Fromers as a good breakfast cafe so we tried it. Coffee was excellent ... Breads were excellent and service friendly and prompt. Worth the few block walk from our hotel.

We have visited crusto on july. They have very nice sandwiches and muffins. Also the prices are very reasionable. If you need a place for breakfast, crusto is the one. Absolitely it has five stars. The staff was very friendly. Thank you all

Good coffee (it all is in Barcelona), friendly service and a better range of baked goods than most of the cafes. Plus you can see the preparation process in the open bakery at the back of the cafe - might be a tad warm in the height of summer but must be great for chilly winter days.

Like the nut bread. The chocolate cake was very good. First tasted the bread at Toto, located next door..

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
