My wife and I ate at Tribeca twice on our last visit to Barcelona. The fixed-price dinner menu includes 5 first plates, a second course, dessert and wine at a very reasonable price. The "pica-pica" first plates were particularly varied and very good. I have read some negative reviews about the service but that was not our experience. The service... More

From the outside this restaurant doesn't look like much, we have passed it many times and never were temped to eat there. However after we had dinner here for the first time we came back the following week for lunch and would have gone back again had we had the time. We had the weekend menu which is a great... More

We'd had a bad day of missed flights and we're looking for some comfort food while we used free wifi. Our luck improved when we had a late lunch in TriBeCa. My friend had the sea food paella while I had a huge and extremely tasty burger that had a large slice of grilled goats cheese on it (removed that... More

On our third day in Barcelona we visited the art gallery district. It was 3:45 in the afternoon and we were running out of time to find a good place for our main meal before all shut down at 4:30. TriBeCa looked like we might be lucky in our random choice...and we were. Although having no menus in English, the... More

Last weekend I was at Tribeca Barcelona and it was a fantastic meal. Its location is centric and it has a special charming look. We had a table for three and we ordered two diferent type of rices, difficult to tell wich one was best. One of its advantages is the fact that you can order rice for just one... More

Searched for the best paella restaurants and Tribeca came up high on the list. Went there just for the paella, but wasn't impressed. Restaurant was empty too at 9:00PM, although it was a rainy night. Oh well.

Arroseria that lends itself to different palates. My boyfriend got the menu for 20 euros and it brought very small portions (granted, we were pretty hungry... A salad the size of my fist and 4 ounces of bacalao is not enough lunch for a person! I picked off of the carta and decided to go with a Parmesan with a... More

I am spanish, and I like paella as most people do, but not all paellas can be named as such. We went to Tribeca just by chance, because it is placed right in the center of the city, and we really enjoyed the meal, the paella is very good but there is also a huge variety of different kinds of... Tribeca is just perfect, I went with my boyfriend to celebrate our 2nd birthdate, we had a perfect meal! Service was fabulous and the place is very nice and cozy. I'm from New Yprk and I went a few times to Robert De Niro's restaurant and it was exactly the same!

We were on our second week in Spain and we were actually getting tired of tapas (!?!). This place was convenient to our hotel on Passeig de Gracia. We went for dinner on a Wednesday night around 8:30, without a reservation. They were very nice, seated us right away, and found someone who spoke English. They also had English menus,... More

A lovely restaurant, set in what seems to be a converted space with rich furnishings and artwork hung and set against exposed steel beams and brick walls. The ambience is quietly relaxed, with upholstered banquettes and white table linens. Named for its chef and owner, Tribeca serves Catalan cuisine influenced most of all by the market. Dishes include starter of artichokes with bocadito of Iberian ham, yellow egg and truffle dressing, main course of pork cheeks with bacon and potato gratin, and sweet of chocolate mousse. A children's menu, fine wines and thoughtful service make this a favourite.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
