We're going to Obama every weekend only because of live music. Yesterday night they invited a new singer, a Spanish lady, who was extremely unprofessional and boring. First of all, she didn't sing any song in English during the whole night, I'm sorry but singing reggaeton and Spanish Flamenco in a British/American bar is something that people don't really expect... We happened upon this place by mistake and were mightily impressed. The décor inside is very colonial and "British." We were lucky enough to sit inside a little alcove that had wing back leather chairs. There are also televisions in various spots that show sports and music videos so its an ideal place to leave a reluctant shopper while the... More

The bar was recommended by a member of staff at Bruca 33 and we we had the most amazing night. The staff were so friendly and they accommodated our diva friend Lizzie who they let loose on the microphone and with the resident band. The bar staff were so friendly, we had free shots and sang the night away until... More

Stopped in here for tea one night on the way back to our hotel. Lovely food, a cracking pint of Moritz and friendly service. Ordered a seafood Paella, Beef fajitas and a pizza and some fries between the 3 kids, a beer for me, glass of white for the wife and juice for the kids. All for €50, which compared... More

They have Coors Light so that's a plus. Live music was great! A fun place to stop in for a drink. My husband likes it there a lot!

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
