If you love East Mediterranean food your at the right place here. The owner is very friendly, the prices are good and the food is just great. You can sit inside but since it was a sunny day I sat on the terrace

I visit this bar/restaurant/tea house, often. This is a good place to have a kebab, the quality is very good and the service is quick and kind. Always a good place to grab a quick snack meanwhile you enjoy Raval/Sant Antoni.

Nicely located, fast service and perfect to do a quick lunch break while shopping. They have also a good selection of baklavas and a terrace during summer.

Went there with my girlfriend. Spotted the place a day before. Ordered a Taboule salad, with was out of stock. Instead had some average and tasteless Humus, some tasty Falafel and a good Durum. Reasonable prices.

Casual place to eat shawarma, located in the city center, nearby Plaza Universidad. Excellent price/quality, and the staff is kind. Considering all the competition, this is so far one of my favorite shawarma places.

Called in for a snack. Had a couple of Pitta Breads with Kebab meat - very tasty. Baclava was also very good. Recommended if you're passing and feel the need!

We came across this by chance - this is located near the Universitat metro and short walk from Catalunya metro. We went to the cafe section for a Shisha and mint tea. It was cheap and good value for money. The cafe is nicely decorated with Moroccan style lamps. The service was good too.

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
