This is a great example of Catalan and Spanish cuisine. Very fresh and tasty seafood and a nice selection of Spanish tapas. Unfortunately can't be booked in advance, so it's always a challenge to get a table. However, you can always approach the nice and long bar and stay there

After a long journey this is a great place to go to relax and suck in the local tapas food. Service good and food/wine reasonable and atmosphere buzzing - missing it already!!

I've been to many places in Barcelona and this place is a cut above the rest. The food is super fresh, tastes amazing , and is reasonably priced. The energy in the restaurant is really incredible and the service and level of execution is phenomenal. Not a place to miss.

Had to wait 40 minutes to be seated, just short walk around area and we got our table as promised. Sufficient choice of tapas, on top of that they offered some seasonal one - it was a must to order Calcots:) All meals were tasty, wines on affordable level. Restaurant is working like swiss watches:)

If it's packed - try to grab a spot at their street extension. Same menu, minus the classiness :) The daily tapas menu is usually a win.

We dropped by for lunch and ordered a selection of tapas all of which were delicious. My oldest daughter ordered an Iberico ham sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. The highlight of lunch was the Catalan cream dessert which was devine. I really like the decor and the atmosphere, it was busy which made for good people spotting.

An absolute must! The food is fantastic, the place itself is beautiful, lively and fancy. Waiting time is long but sitting by the bar works just fine. Definitely worth to try and even come back time and time again :)

Our visit was based on the great reviews on tripadvisor & a recommendation from our hotel. The restaurant has an attractive outside eating area, we went over the busy lunch period but were seated very quickly. The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered patatas bravas, deep fried Camembert, prawn skewers, spanish tortilla omelette & mini burgers. Every choice was perfect,... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
