We booked and came to Adolfo for lunch based on a recommendation from a friend's father who lived in Madrid. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated quickly. My first impression of Adolfo was classic fine dinning. We (my wife, I and two children age 11 and 13) all ordered the 55 euro menus. I would describe our food... More

Our most expensive restaurant this trip. The food was great, the service top notch and the decor was nice.

I was fortunate enough to have lunch here last week during my solo trip to Toledo for the day. I chose the 72 euro lunch and was pleased with every aspect of it. Each dish was perfectly prepared with excellent flavors. I do not consider myself a "foodie" however I do love food and there was nothing about this meal... More

For such a beautiful town Toledo lacks decent restaurants in my opinion. This has had excellent reviews on this site however we ( and we are experienced foodies) were very disappointed from start to finish. We had the 55 euro menu and the portions were small and not very flavoursome. They charge you 5.50 euros each for bread and amuse... More

The evening was one surprise after another. The attention to detail is top! The chef visited our table and the sommelier recommended a wine we had never tried which was excellent! Every dish from the Simone to complex was perfect. We left satisfied but not over eaten. There are few memorable restaurants in Toledo. Adolfo's is as good as any... More

You enter another world in Adolfo's.A dining room surrounded by a gallery.White and peach marble set off against crimson walls and oil paintings. Delicate well presented food. The partridge and pig's ear were exquisite. Service excellent and some memorable wines including a merlot from a vineyard belong to Adolfo!!! Highly recommended!!!!

We couldn't have enjoyed the food or service more! It's fine dining all the way. The English menu translation doesn't quite do the dishes justice, however. Our favourites were the suckling pig, foie gras, and mushrooms. For dessert the caramel ball with raspberry sorbet was definitely amazing and delicious! Not to be missed!

This was a very nice experience - 5 stars for the quality of the food and for the carrying Adolfo shows to each customer. If it wouldn't have been for the attention of Adolfo at the end of the lunch, when he showed us what 5 stars service looks like, I would have given only 4 stars, because, unfortunately, the... More

Adolfo and his daughter welcomed us into their restaurant as if we are friends. Beautiful, elegant restaurant with professional service. Just too much for lunch, dinner would be more appropriate, but then we were on a day trip from Madrid. It is obvious this family is anxious to offer you the freshest food with the best service. They really do... More
