... we stepped in occasionally. We ordered the classics hurricane and gin-tonic. Both were perfectly prepared. On a very large mirror in this bar, the barkeeper has listed the available drinks, together with the date and the origin of its creation! This is quite interesting. Some of the classics are really old. Unfortunately we were not able to try the... More

Very tasty and creative tapas accompanied by sangria - ideal lunch break in Toledo. Note there are just a few tables downstairs and it may take a while till you get what you ordered. It is worth waiting for though.

The restaurant is small, but really cosy. I loved the decor and the staff was really friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with the menu. Traditional dishes with a twist. I highly recommend the Charcoal Cod, Tuna tataki and the Octopus. For desert we had the Panna Cotta (mint & lemon). There are, however more dishes I would like to try,... More

Using Tripadvisor reviews to locate a nearby place brought us here. We wanted to relax while we ate and so the bar person called upstairs so we could go there for a meal. Service was very friendly but I think there must have been a language issue. Judiones de la Granja was suggested as a typical meal of the region... More

Really different experience. Attentive service. Each dish explained in detail. I wanted the tuna as a main course but it had a meat juice. I don't eat meat so they changed that to a soya juice. Good starter of carbon cod. Fritters with squid ink and tomato croquettes flambéd at the table. We couldn't decide between them so they gave... More

We came to this place by mistake and we were more than satisfied. The place (upstairs) is beautiful and the service is rather professional and kind. I'd say it's a nice gastronomicish restaurant. The quality and inventiveness of the food is remarquable and the prices can definitely beat any other restaurant around. We had the five course menu and don't... More

My wife and I popped in around 10pm, when it was easy to find a table. The hirsute barmen we friendly, and their hipster demeanor indicated their cocktails would be something special. We perused the cocktail board, which listed classic cocktails and their ingredients attributed to their hometowns and year of invention. Included in the list were a number of... More

I appreciated the surprises that come with te tapas you order, textures, mix of flavours, etc Good service, and you can feel the place didn't lose the spirit of a "food house". Let yourself be recommended by the staff and you'll be in good hands.

Super cocktails made and presented with care and attention to detail. Very smartly dressed bar staff only to pleased to help with taxi arrangements. We didn't eat here but wished that we had if the drinks are anything to go by. Wonderful!!!

The place is brimming with ambience right down to the smartly dresses serving staff who look like they came out of Chicago speak easy. We focused on their cocktails and tapas as we sat downstairs and not in the restaurant but it was excellent. Cocktails aren't cheap but they are works of art and they know their game -- and... More
