The food here was of sensational quality, and the location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful corner of the Jewish quarter in Toledo. The lamb was notably superb. It was one of the best meals I had in Spain.

While Toledo, Spain has a dearth of hotels (due to the fact that it is so close to Madrid and most tourists do not spend the night), it has wonderful food. We stayed in the historic part of the city for two nights, and, asking hotel reception for recommendations nearby, we were directed to La Orza. It was excellent, and... More

The pulpo a la brasa was harder than a stone and it was almost impossible to cut with the knife. In addition the octopus was completely tasteless. Left all on the plate. The cordero asado was really salty, and differently from what was written in the menu there was no honey on the dish. Left half on the plate. The... More

This was by far one of the best meals we had in all of Spain and Portugal. Unfortunately we parked on the opposite side of Toledo and had to find this restaurant. Toledo is a very confusing maze of streets even if you have a map. We had given ourselves plenty of time to make it to our lunch reservation.... More

Relaxed environment, amazing food, awesome views and really good service. If you go to Toledo this is a really good restaurant to have lunch or dinner. Note: If you order Perdiz be careful as it sometimes has bullets because they are hunted in the open. We were lucky enough to be offered a Marzipan shot by the manager :)

I was alone and ordered a salad and a fish entree. The salad was nice and very large. The fish was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The dessert was below-average. The wine was good and inexpensive. They charged €1.50 for a roll that someone came by and dropped off without me knowing there was a charge. The water... More

Went here during a lovely day trip to Toledo. Nice view outside and fantastic inside. Service was great, and the steak (bife de limo) probably in the top 3 I've ever eaten. At the higher end of the pricing but we knew that going in and certainly got a great meal with a bottle of wine for 70 Euros, so... More

Quietly located close to the El Greco museum, this small scale restaurant offers everything you need. Very friendly service, high quality dishes, affordable wines, cosy atmosphere. Dishes are local with an international twist and very well prepared and presented. We spend approx 110 euro for the full experience (3 courses, wine, water, coffee, aperitive). Make sure to make a reservation... More
