Unfortunately, we only found this restaurant right at the end of our stay in San Sebastion, La Gomera. We had looked at it on the Sunday, but it was closed. We had an excellent risotto for lunch, washed down with a very good house wine. We would have loved to have gone back for dinner, but we were off the... More

Out the way location which is a downside as we were the only couple in. Felt a little awkward and over looked after. House salad as a stater was delicious. Had the fish platter to share which was somewhat disappointing. Too much for 2, tuna was cold and some pieces over cooked. Chose the white wine from La Gomera which... More

Fresh fish to choose from beautifully cooked. Good local wine. Very pleasant helpful staff. Lovely setting but need to find as behind new harbour.

Food good, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff...restaurant a little tricky to find but in the side of cave down by sea front alongside Fred Olsen ferry. Local specialities worth a try.

This restaurant in a cave offers great service. We had a lovely meal of fish and pasta. There is a good range of meat, fish and pasta dishes all at reasonable prices.

Sorry to say, but Restaurante El Charcón wasn't that great. We had fish with rice. The fish was one of those inferior oily fish, which can be a bit dry. The sauce was lovely, with cumin, and the ambience was great with fantastic views to Tenerife. But the dish was distinctly average. I wanted to love it here, but it... More

Ate here twice in the last week. Each time service and food were great with good wine recommendations.

Four of us had lunch here recently. We found the service professional, efficient and friendly and the dining room was nicely furnished with a comfortable and relaxing ambience. The menu was fairly extensive and interesting but we opted for some of the "daily specials" - we selected two types of local fresh fish for our main course with some shared... More

We shared a starter ( baby squid with aioli ), then a large striped sea bream which was very good. Desserts were to die for. If you have a sweet tooth as I do, the trio of palm honey desserts is a six star !
