From the discreet entrance, the restaurant doesn't appear to be much, HOWEVER don't be fooled. Wonderful food, the owner has a seriously dry sense of humour which was very entertaining and the cosy space made for a special night. No chips, no pasta, no pizza...More

Had a fantastic meal in Las Olas Bistro today. We shared four tapas between us and there was more than enough for lunch for two people. The food was not expensive but well priced for the quality which was outstanding. The decor was different and...More

I booked Las Olas for 9 of us for lunch before we flew home having just spent 2 weeks holidaying Majorca. The proprietor was very welcoming and had a quirky dry sense of humour. I ordered the prawn ravioli to start and the salmon and...More

The other reviews sum this place up very well - a small restaurant (about 14 covers?), run by a very friendly and slightly eccentric (and I'm sure he wouldn't mind me saying that!) Irishman and his lovely Vietnamese wife. They are both dedicated to serving...More

This is an excellent place where to eat. Do not expect your traditional Spanish restaurant or anything touristy. This is a family ran place (husband and wife) with a slightly unusual atmosphere (it feels more like being guests in someone house). The food was simply...More

There is no doubt that this "hidden gem", as it was referred to in some other reviews, deserves 5 stars easily; while it is located in or close to touristic centre, this is by no means a touristic restaurant/bistro, but rather a family ran one,...More

I think it was six years ago that we were number one on this site. We started to immediately get people walking in the door wearing white gloves and nearly everyone asked "What is special, what should we eat" They all got very annoyed when...More

Very interesting place, mainly due to quiet location close to more busy square. Amazing to enjoy the peace and quiet even so close to a much more noisy touristic area. Menu very interesting (where the owner expressed his utter surprise how people can decide to...More

I find it hard to understand when people do not look at the menu outside before entering. It happened one day a few weeks ago I had seven tables walk in and sit down and seven tables walk out when they saw the menu. All...More

Superb! Out of the mainstreet and tourists you will find this hidden gem. Only a few tables outside and some more inside. We had a perfect lunch in a lovely atmosphere. Nice priced also.

The other day someone asked if anyone had ever said that I looked like Peter Sellers, a month ago someone said that I looked like Woody Alan and during the spring there was a comment that I reminded them of John Cleese. Well you can...More

We decided to try this place after seeing all the good reviews online and it was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel (Terra Santa). We were very glad we found this place. The restaurant is owned by a husband and wife team who...More

Thanks for coming to our small Bistro. I have had a run of too much good luck recently and have only had nice people coming in the door. I have a feeling that this will change shortly and we will be described as the nasty...More
