We stopped off at Palma during a cruise. While walking around the old town we were looking for a small place to have some tapas and we came across this bright pink building on a corner of a square which looked busy. The staff were very friendly and we ended up having a special €10 tapas menu that had 4... More

First of all it is near the sea. Second it is in the heart of Palma, run by what it seems local young people. The unfortunate thing is that the menu has food from all over the world (thai, indian, etc), which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it certainly missing spanish tastes. Tried the gazpacho soup, mediocre, and... More

I´m quite stunned by the rave reviews this place has. Cafe Coto may be cheap, but it´s filthy. Outside and inside. And the toilets were shocking so I don´t want to imagine what their kitchen is like. We found the food inedible. I was served pasta with diced chicken on the top, no sauce, no cheese, no nothing and was... More

We went to this place, as it was close to our hotel, for some tapas. The cafe is decorated with plenty of references to Frida Kahlo, and in general (we went there twice actually during our visit) the atmosphere is nice, except when a group of drunk German tourists cause too much noise, but that seems to be the norm... The place was warm not only because the sunny weather, but also because of two persons receiving and serving the customers, a gentleman and a lady, very experienced, professional, feeling good with the "thing" they are doing. We (four persons) have ordered different soups, salads, etc and different main courses, without having the intention to order menus. By the end... More

I was there for a breakfast, the scrambled eggs were not very tasty (just plain well scrambled eggs). I did expect to find some taste on my plate. Service OK, atmosphere- can't complain.

We found this delightful restaurant last year on our annual visit to Palma and we just had to return this year it was so good - in fact we had dinner twice this year enjoying a varied selection of excellent tapas on both occasions coupled with a bottle of local Mallorcan wine. Restaurant personnel are all very pleasant and friendly.... More

Just set off the main street in a lovely square this restaurant is very colourful. We had breakfast here and the coffee is very nice. The service is excellent and very good value for money. Didn't try it at night as it gets very busy - you need to get there early to grab a table as its very popular.

My Wife & I had breakfast here on our first morning, after a late arrival the previous evening. The coffee was really excellent, exactly what we both needed! Great, simple good, served efficiently with a smile..I had the 3-egg omelette which was prefect! We went back late evening, for another coffee & to share a desert..we had the warm chocolate... More
