The food was excellent but the service was incredibly bad. Ordered for, only got some of it, very busy and chaotic. The staff were also not very friendly. Should of got 1/5 but the food was excellent

My wife and I went to this restaurant and, the first time was so full that we didnt make it. Next day we came earlier and we found a spot. The place is really busy but their team manages to serve everybody really well. Now,...More

The veal cheeks fall apart at the touch of a fork and taste lovely. The risotto (which looks a little like orzo) is not the typical one served with cheese/cream, but rather cooked / served in a hearty meaty broth. Grilled octopus is delicious and...More

Busy little pintxo bar in the old town area. Famous for its veal cheeks that are slow cooked until they fall apart - rich and succulent. Also tried the cod cheeks and foie gras - acquired tastes!

The food was very nice but it got stuck in our throats by the awful customer service we witnessed in this tapas bar last Saturday 10th June. Four locals ordered drinks and some "pintxos" and went outside to have them. It was packed everywhere so...More

I've been coming to San Sebastian for over 10 years and began coming to La Cuchara when it first opened. This place never disappoints! The food is incredible. This tiny place is always packed and the wait can sometimes be long, but it is always...More

This bar used to be one of my favorites, and every time someone would come visit me I would take them there, but NEVER AGAIN. Worst service of my life. First of all after ordering we were outside waiting for a table to open up...More

We went at lunch time, but we also know that they are opened in the evenings, because we tried but it was full and couldn't get a table. Worth trying to get it.
Hello, does anyone know the opening times for the restaurant and whether you need to make reservations? Thanks.

Hi this is a casual pintxo bar and standing room only. No need for reservation. Not sure about exact opening times - they're open for lunch and closes around 2 pm. Reopens again for dinner till late.
