Search for the location, only a few metres off the beaten path (literally) but easily missed. Order off the menu, you will not be disappointed. A must try after you get bored of the regular pintzos at most other places. Young and lively atmosphere, great...More

It is insanely busy. Not a place for a romantic meal. However pinchos are top notch. There is believe it or not a system for ordering . Do this at the start of the bar as you enter. A name will be taken. Work out...More

We went to La Cuchara on a sunday evening; we spotted the place based on the other reviews and were not disappointed. The friendly, helpful and cheerful staff (sometimes singing) can speak English if needed to help you choose your food and drinks. More important:...More

I went to this store as recommended by friends, so glad I did!! The overall store is quite narrow, but then so are many in San Sebastian. It is stand up eating style of place. Ordered the suckling pig and it was so delicious, juicy,...More

Good food but given the amount of choice and quality in San Sebastian, I don't think I'll come back.

Get there early - almost standing room only - try the pig (slow roasted for hours - melts in your mouth), duck ravioli OMG!, and of course the rice/ risotto -- they run out of favorites early so plan accordingly!

Suckling pig is the signature dish and out of the five pintxos we ate, the suckling pig was the best. Friendly service and English menu if your Spanish is limited. It is a very small bar with limited space to even stand and order; we...More

This crowded, lively place is worth wading through the crowd to place an order. Enjoy unique, fresh food standing within view of the kitchen where the magic happens. Pig's ear and fois gras are flavorful and perfectly cooked.

We went at lunch time, but we also know that they are opened in the evenings, because we tried but it was full and couldn't get a table. Worth trying to get it.

Hi this is a casual pintxo bar and standing room only. No need for reservation. Not sure about exact opening times - they're open for lunch and closes around 2 pm. Reopens again for dinner till late.
