Stopped for a coffee while waiting to get on a bus. Friendly waiter but very messy terrace with rubbish and dirty tables everywhere. Flocks of tourists which I guess just got off a coach entering every couple of minuets, no idea where they'd be going to! Food didn't look good, my advice? Stop for a coffee, nothing else.

Awful place to eat...Don't stop here....please. Bad food bad service. Bad place. I have ordered the Surtido especial and I got a piece of shi ty cured meats with no no no cheeses and when I argued that it should have cheese they tried to explain that the menu had changed....a stupid argument in a bad bad place.

Arrived for a late lunch (but reasonable time by Spanish standards). Was told that the kitchen would shut in 15 minutes, hence we would need to be quick in ordering (fair enough). Another waitress then said it would be 30 minutes before the kitchen shut. We were with our two young children, hence it took a good 10 minutes to... More

While I am usually fairly generous with praise and forgiving of small shortcomings in my reviews (see previous ones If you doubt this) I could find little to recommend this place. Our waitress was efficient, friendly and helpful. We shared two tapas and each had one glass of wine before giving up and leaving. The food was so heavily salted... More

We visited for an informal lunch - the restaurant was empty but we decided to give it a chance anyway. The tapas menu was ok, fairly substantial. We tried to order drinks but the waiter spoke very little English - eventually we agreed upon a bottle of red. We ordered 3 tapas dishes to start in case the quality of... More

The positive reviews below convinced me to try this restaurant but I really should've listened to the negative review as they speak the TRUTH. Indeed the service was adequate but the food was terrible! I'm not sure whether it was a bad day for the chef, or more realistically a bad year, but the standard does not match up to... More

Service was friendly and helpful but this was all forgotten by the below average food. The menu was not correctly translated to English which was disappointing for our vegetarian friend. Furthermore, the quality of the food was not very good.

I loved this place for the tasty food as well as the reasonable cost. This restaurant has a 3 course deal where you order 3 tapas dishes, a drink + one desert; all of which costs just 8.50 euros. The service is also worth mentioning - really courteous staff and a quick turnaround on your order. Note: This place is... More

Recommended by the nice people at cyclotour. Very near the centre yet very good value for money. We had some great tapas plus drinks for two at E15. Ate outside in the winter sun. Lovely.

Description
On San Sebastian Square, La Hosteria Del Prado is a city centre restaurant with a difference. The dining room, with its dark wood beams, tiled floors and cast iron chandeliers, is straight out of a historic country house. Purchased in the 1940s by La Raza founder Jose Rodriguez Cala, La Hosteria Del Prado is a wonderful showcase for the food of Seville and the surrounding area, a trailblazer on the emerging local produce scene. Ingredients from both land and sea are used to give patrons a taste of the province while in the heart of the city, each dish traditional yet so imaginatively presented its almost as if youre tasting old favourites for the first time.
