We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday evening meal at Las Escobas. We were eating early by Spanish standards so we were limited to "touristic" places close to the cathedral as more local places don't serve so early. After studying the menus of about half a dozen places we chose Las Escobas because it offered some appealing sounding fixed price menus (bread,... More

this is one of the oldest restaurants in Seville, the food was amazing and very good value. staff were great. if you have sharing tapas be prepared to waddle when you finish, large portions and extremely tasty. highly recommended.

Dropped in here for a quick lunch and found the menu and personnel to be great. They had a good variety of tasty food items and were able to speak English sufficiently that even minor changes in our requests could be made...without grimace or complaint. Be aware that like many European restaurants, they will bring you a basket of bread... More

Had a really nice lunch here. The menu is quite vsried but plenty to choose from without being mind-boggling. We had the menu of the day which was very tasty. Nice house wine. Friendly service. Great place for people watching.

This is the worst meal I had in Spain. Service wasn't bad but the food, just not fresh, not nice, not good, no taste, very very fatty, it really looked like hospital food... There is much better in the area, good point is that it is open all afternoon, so you can eat anytime from 12.00 to 12.00...

This restaurant was close to our hotel and in an area where there are many other restaurants. We ate here several times during our five night stay in Seville and we were happy with the food, the ambience and the service. The menu is large and flexible and so it is possible to have a light, single course lunch (try... More

This restaurant is nicely located in the heart of old town. Friendly staff. Nice bar. I had garlic soup and paella. My husband had tomato soup and pork with chips. The seafood with the paella was cold; not very authentic. Lovely bottle of Rioja wine.

Nothing good to eat. Bad sangria (from packages and bottles of something artificial), terrible service and the worst paella in the world.

This place is supposed to be the oldest in town. Very charming and typical setting ( inside and outside ). Good selection of tapas and paellas.

We had a simple tapas lunch here and were impressed by both the value for money and the tasty selection provided. We were a group of 4 and decided on the offer of 5 tapas for 9.90 Euros. We had 2 selections so effectively had 10 different tapas between us. The service was good and friendly and given the position... More

The oldest Tavern in Spain gets its name from an old esparto grass weaver who delivered wine and hand crafted brooms that once hung from the ceiling. Nowadays, it is a restaurant and terrace next to the Cathedral, where you can savour exquisite tapas and traditional Andalusian dishes
