This is were many local and Spanish people eat. The service here is outstanding given how busy they are.We were left enjoy our food and drinks despite a long queue. The menu is traditional tapas both hot and cold.We recommend the prawns, croquettes, stuffed peppers and all salads were good,as were the chips. With wine ,cokes and waters the bill came to less than... Enough of the manicured expensive dinners. Off for some local grub in a local place. Tapas here is simple, tasty and quick. Order 4 dishes for two at a time otherwise you will, as ever with Tapas, be out of there too quick. Take your time between sections to quaff the excellent sangria. Eat as many as you can squeeze... Visited again for the 3rd time and it doesn't disappoint. The last time we were here was 3 years ago and the standards haven't dropped at all. The tapas arrives when it's ready which gives time to enjoy before the next ones materialise. Once again it's full of locals and tourists which shows it caters for all. Definitely worth searching... While most of Marbella is simply tourist-oriented, here you can find locals and tourists. Nice narrow street, typical floor-tiles. Reasonable prices, usually crowded, good service. Just the type of place you want to frequent for some tapas.

We love tapas. It's great if you fancy just picking at different dishes when you're not too hungry and usually good value wine. Bar El Estrecho is tucked down a narrow back street in lovely old Town - you might need a map to find it or just wander around until you do. The night we went in January it... More

Dropped in here at the suggestion of our hotel. Lovey original bar servicing good wine & beer at very cheap prices - €2.10 for a huge glass of cava. Uncomfortable chairs resulted in us not staying for tapas. Looked good though.

Ate here three times over the course of a week in Marbella, twice for lunch and once for dinner. Over the three visits tried almost every tapas on offer. Everything was very good and the prices represent great value for the quality of food. Highly recommended!!!
